The cabin was exactly as the pictures depicted. It was well stocked and extremely clean. Plenty of games, everything you could possibly need for the kitchen, and grill tools as well. The separate cottage allowed for privacy and was close to parking without any steps. We are already planning to rent this lovely home again.

We were a little skeptical to book this property since there wasn't any reviews on Evolve. We found it on VRBO which eased our minds. There were only two of us so we didn't use the extra cabin, but that would be a good place for a couple of kids or another couple.
It is very convenient to Inn of Mt. Gods, race track, and barely off the main road. Grindstone lake and trails are just around the corner.
There could be some difficulty in the winter because the road up to the house is fairly steep.
We didn't experience any of the smells that were talked about on VRBO.
The hot tub was great in the evenings. It is fairly private. Wish there was some way to turn off some of the outside lights. We used the fire pit every morning and evening. We exchanged the propane bottle which was very easy.
The kitchen is well equipped. We used the pellet grill for steaks one evening which was great.
The only thing we didn't ever figure out is the thermostat would go to some set temp after we would leave in the mornings. It would be a little stuffy when we returned, but it didn't take long to cool back down. We also didn't ask if that could be changed.
We would stay here again the next time we visit Ruidoso.
