There were 9 of us staying in the home on a girls' trip. We could have fun together in a paper sack, but we love a home with a great pool and outdoor space, lots of beds and bathrooms. We never spend time in a house other than to sleep and prep food. This home checked the boxes when it came to plenty of beds and bathrooms! We were all super comfortable. Sheets and pillows were comfy! The kitchen was spacious and lovely! The pics of the pool were a bit misleading -- the pool is TINY! But we were able to keep cool and wet the entire weekend. Requests to use the hot tub were honored. I can't give 5 stars because the patio was not as shown. There were a few sitting chairs, but no chaises as we thought there would be. Landscaping needed some attention too. Due to a recent storm, a few windows were broken, but they were double-paned so broken glass wasn't an issue for us but they were quite an eyesore. The place is almost AMAZING. It almost feels like it's 80% done. Maybe one day it will be a 100% rental. There are two other homes on the property that seem a little more upscale than the home we rented, but the way they are laid out respects privacy for each. We had no interactions, purposely or accidental with guests in the other two homes. We wouldn't stay there again, but honestly we like to go to new places each year. We slept great, had comfortable meal prep, but would have liked to see the outdoor space receive a little more TLC.

Over all this property checks a lot of boxes all for a large family get together. The kitchen is very spacious and lots of room. I’m sure it’s hard to keep stuff organized with different people in and out but everything was so disorganized and things like pots weren’t all centrally located in one cabinet. We had a group of 18, they definitely didn’t have enough dinner plates, bowls, cups for our whole group, so plan accordingly to have paper plates/cups/bowls.
The bedroom arrangement and bunk room worked out great for us and the smaller sitting room was nice to sit in with a couple people if you wanted to get away from the large group. It appeared as though a storm had been through recently, almost all the chairs around the fire pit were damaged and broken pieces were everywhere. We personally spent some time cleaning up the fire pit area so we could enjoy it a bit more and not be tripping over tree limbs and debris. The first night we were there we notice the 3 bedrooms on the same side of the house were all a bit hot, the property manager was very responsive and had a company out a few hours later they got us fixed up and the rooms were all cooled before we went to bed. I think they did a band-aid fix because we had to let her know again about a day 1/2 later they were hot and it seemed the unit was no longer working. Again, she was very responsive and had them come back out. The rooms were never unbearable but I felt like the home owner had paid for a service to have them fix it and wanted it fixed right for them.
Things I think this property could improve is making sure there are enough dining room table chairs. There is a very large table but I think it maybe had 8 chairs if that, we pulled up coolers and sat on those but would have been nice to have 12-14 chairs that I believe the large table could accommodate.
WiFi - I know they can only work with what’s offered out there but we had a hard time even streaming a movie so that was kind of a bummer.
The outside of the property is a bit lack luster - landscaping is non existent and what little stuff was there like landscaping lights were all broken and just not unkept. With that said this didn’t hinder us from having fun and enjoying the outdoor living space, pool, and lake.
Overall we would probably stay at this property again as it was clean inside, and had lots of space for our family to spend time together.

The house is in an amazing location and overall met our needs for a great stay! The layout and amenities were just right for our group. However, a few issues with maintenance and supplies impacted our experience.
First, the landscaping appeared neglected, and the house had not been dusted well, with visible cobwebs in multiple areas. Some bathroom showers hadn’t been fully cleaned which sadly we had to do ourselves. For a property advertised to accommodate 18 people, we expected a sufficient supply of essentials, like towels and tissue. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough towels for our group, and many of the ones provided were visibly worn or had stains, leading us to purchase more ourselves. Additionally, there was not enough tissue or trash bags provided, which required another trip to the store upon arrival.
While these details didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay, a bit more attention to cleanliness and supply stock would make this rental even better for future guests.
With these adjustments, it could easily be a standout property!
