Two homes are better than one! Guests will experience first-class accommodations at two stunning lake front homes that sit side by side and sleep up to 24 guests. There are a total of 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with plenty of room for a large gathering. The sprawling backyard layout features breathtaking views from the 2 story docks, large mature trees, cedar arbor, outdoor movie screen, sand volleyball court, fire pit, and lots of backyard fun for everyone!
The Space:
Welcome to the Benjamin I and Benjamin II lakefront retreats! There are 2 separate homes that feature over 3,000 square feet of living space perfect for large groups and family gatherings. Step inside to each one of the homes!
The Benjamin I:
The Living Room: Features a wood burning fireplace, mounted TV, cozy seating, and wall of windows overlooking the backyard retreat and lake. There is a queen size pull out sofa that sleeps up to two guests (sleeps 2).
The Kitchen: The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream with beautiful quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, fully stocked cookware, dinnerware, serving-ware, bakeware, coffee bar, and kitchen appliances. Ample counter space for ideal catering and serving to guests. Find a seat at the large island, plenty of room for everyone!
***Complimentary regular and decaf coffee, creamer, sweetener, a variety of cooking spices, salt, pepper, cooking spray, and cooking oil.
Bedroom 1: The bright and airy master suite has picturesque views of the stunning back yard. A beautiful king-size bed, large dresser, large mounted TV, mirror, and highly rated memory foam mattress and sheets await you. (sleeps 2).
Bathroom 1: Spa-like ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1 has a large walk-in closet, separate shower, double sinks, and soaking tub.

Bedroom 2: This gorgeous bedroom overlooks the the backyard and has a queen size bed suitable for up to two guests plus plenty of room for storage and mounted TV (sleeps 2).
Bedroom 3: This adorable bedroom has one set of bunk beds with a full size bed on the bottom bunk and a twin size bed on the top bunk and a twin size trundle making this an ideal setup for a kids bunkroom (sleeps 4).
Bedroom 4: This versatile bedroom features a full size bed and a private work-space with a corner desk. (sleeps 2).
Bathroom 2: A lovely guest bathroom located off the hallway of the two secondary bedrooms has a quartz countertop, combo bathtub/shower, and ample cabinet space for storage.

The backyard oasis at each home features a covered patio with outdoor fan, comfortable seating, rocking chairs for enjoying your morning cup of coffee, and a hot tub perfect for days of relaxation and night time star gazing (2 hot tubs total). Stay in and cook with an outdoor gas BBQ grill (propane tank included) and fire pit with seating for roasting marshmallows (complimentary smore's kit and firewood included). The 2 story dock is tucked quietly inside a cove and has beautiful views of the open water. Plenty of backyard games including cornhole, bocce ball, Spike ball, Kanjam, and an awesome sand volleyball court (Benjamin II) with net to keep guests busy for hours on end! Two kayaks at each home (4 total), and life jackets are available free of charge for guests to use.
All 6 large screen Smart TV’s have Roku, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Max, etc. (There are NO LOCAL CHANNELS) You are able to log into your accounts on any of the TV’s.
The home is located within a short drive to Main Street in Gun Barrel City which provides quick access to restaurants, shopping, Starbucks, and nearby state parks.

The Neighborhood:
The homes are located in a quiet neighborhood on Cedar Creek Lake a few miles from Gun Barrel City, Texas. The neighborhood is all single family homes. The homes are a mix of weekenders and full time residents.
Getting Around:
You can walk/bike around the neighborhood but would recommend a car if you wanted to go to shopping or out to eat. You are just a few miles from the main road with shopping, restaurants, attractions. You are about 10 minutes off highway 175 that runs from Dallas to Athens. You are about 30 minutes from Canton Trade Days!!
Other Things to Note:
Friendly pups are welcome (2 pet max per home). There is a $50 fee per pet invoiced separate. Invoice must be paid 24 hours prior to check-in.
There is a 2020 Pontoon boat available Onsite for a daily rate of $700 (May 1-Sept 30), $600 (Oct 1- Apr 30).
We have 4 brand new jet skis available for rent. Daily rate is $600 (May 1-Sept 30), $500 (Oct 1- Apr 30).
Please reach out at least 48 hours prior to the time of your rental to ensure availability.
***Lake Level *** Lake levels can change weekly depending on seasons and lack of rainfall. Please reach out for an update on lake level if concerned. Current lake level is low around the dock. Water is still accessible by climbing down from the dock ladder and walking out to deeper water. Please check for updates on lake level if bringing a boat. Watercraft rentals are subject to weather and lake levels. We can not guarantee water craft rental at the time of your reservation.

Both houses had everything we needed for a great long weekend trip! The two backyards together make it very spacious and relaxing. The hot tubs were perfect as it got quite cold while we were there, too! The property does sit on a tributary, so if boating/kayaking is your priority check the lake levels because the water level off the docks was only about a foot deep. Still had a great time though!

These houses were the perfect location for our 6 couples on our Life Group retreat. Such a beautiful, peaceful view and the houses were very well stocked. We spent lots of time on the covered patios and around the firepit. Highly recommend.

We spent 2 nights with family who came down from Cali, MN and Arkansas; ages ranging from 65-4yrs old. Both properties are beautifully decorated down to the linens, everything was pretty new inside. There were extra pillows, blankets and towels for everyone to use too! They had a tub of 7-8 beach towels by the back door in each house and that was nice to have esp with little kids. We threw it in the wash and reused them. The kids enjoyed the hot tubs and the game room in the garage, there was also the sand volleyball in the back. The two fire pits were a hit. We saw a lot of turtles and carp fish. We didn’t catch anything but 1 catfish off the dock, we had a lot of nibbles on the pole tho. It was a great time, the kids and adults enjoyed our time together. It was relaxing to sit on the dock and watch the sunrise/sunset! The property had a little bit of everything for everyone. They also left us a bucket in each house filled with popcorn, candy and stuff to make smores! The kids loved it! We also rented the pontoon, that was fun too. I would recommend this place again our only downfall about this place was the host. We had a few mishaps and Miscommunication while we were there and I won’t go into detail because it has nothing to do with the property just the host. I won’t mention her name, but I will say NINA was great to communicate with, she wasn’t short with her responses and very professional when responding back. Thank you for letting our family stay at your beautiful property.
