Three adults stayed at the cottage for a total of 9 nights. 2 of us distance-worked during the week thanks to the strong network connectivity. Video calls for both of us were no problem at all. It’s also a great location for puffin viewing at Sumburgh Head if it’s the right time of year. The cottage is comfortable, well set up with everything you need and more, and the host communication was very clear and fast. She even ran an internet speed test for us before booking to make sure it would work for our need! Given the cottage is by the sea, there were some pill-bugs that likely wandered in from outside throughout the house. While not harmful, we felt this could be improved for the next guests.

This was a great stay. The host responded quickly to our questions. To top it off we had glimpses of the Aurora. This property is close to the airport, and the nights were not totally dark, but we could easily drive up to the light tower for dark sky’s. The view from the kitchen window is sunning.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location. The views from the cottage are tremendous looking over the turquoise sea. Very close to Jarlshof and Sumburgh Head, 15 minutes from St. Ninian’s Isle, and 30 minutes from Lerwick.The cottage was clean and comfortable. Good communications with the host, Stephanie.
