About this apartment rental
Just in time for the “start of summer,” we’re opening our vacation rental—it’s located in a village of 140 residents at the end of the street with a pond; once you step out the gate, head down Kirchgässchen, cross the street, and you’re right in the woods😉
Your “Tiroliastübchen” is on the first floor with access to the garden, which you’ll share with us. In the morning, you’ll hear birds chirping and maybe the occasional farm machine. In front of your bedroom is a seating area protected from the sun and rain by a canopy. There’s also a fire pit where you can grill something. You’re also welcome to sit on the pond terrace, or we can provide you with lounge chairs... If you bring a four-legged friend (10 European N. extra), the garden is fenced in. Your dog should be as sociable as possible, since we have one of that breed ourselves.
For an additional fee, you can use the sauna. Just let us know, and we’ll have sauna towels and bathrobes ready for you!
The apartment is equipped with almost everything except a dishwasher—ground coffee, tea, basic spices, some vinegar and oil… dish towels… a thick roll of paper towels, toilet paper, and bath towels as well…
There are 2 ceramic stovetops (+ an electric hotplate) and a microwave integrated into the oven => Cooking is best kept simple or improvised… It’s vacation, after all!
The beds are made and waiting for you on a loft bed. Don’t worry—there are steps to help you climb up!
If you do need to wash or dry laundry, just ask us!

3 km away is Schönecken, which has a small supermarket, a pharmacy, hair salons, an Italian restaurant, bakeries—one of which offers homemade ice cream—and a gas station, etc. There’s a swimming pool in Prüm, 7 km away, as well as various shops, the basilica, the sculpture park, etc.
For information on sights and other details, there’s a folder or flyer in the apartment!
Oh, and there’s a CD/cassette player, a few games, and some books.
When it gets cooler, you can light the wood-burning stove to make things cozy—we’ll provide the wood for an additional fee 😊

We were pleasantly surprised by the guesthouse! It was lots more cosy than we had anticipated.
The hosts are also very friendly and relaxed. We could let the dog roam around in the garden which was also nice.
