    Tama Lodge was the best choice for staying Tamarindo. Christian the owner was so welcoming and helpful with tips on where to go and what to do. On our first day he gave us a map and the advice to go to Conchal (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The room was simple but perfect, there is a pool (just be mindful of the swimming lessons), a kitchen that you can use, water cooler (filtered), hammocks and if you ask nicely maybe Christian will let you use the ping pong table (hes very good, be ready to get your butt kicked). Its about 10-15 minutes from the centre of Tamarindo which I liked for noise levels, but also not very far. The community and Tama Lodge is what makes it a perfect stay for solo travelers, long stay guests and even couples who want to get to know the Tamarindo lifestyle. You can take it easy at Tama Lodge and really enjoy what Tamarindo has to offer. PURA VIDA BABY!
