Clock Cottage was a great place for our family of 2 adults and 2 children to stay during a visit with relatives who live in the area. It is decorated to a high level of detail, the bathrooms were beautifully appointed with large bathtubs and a rain shower, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen has a good layout with everything you would need. The back terrace and grassy area were a great place for our kids to run around to burn off energy, and the location is great. It's a short drive to any amenities, with a pub down the road and a Tesco not far in Chepstow. There's also a good playground nearby for more fun for kids. The cautions: Clock Cottage is on a main road with a steep driveway. If you're a nervous reverse driver, be aware, although area drivers are always accommodating of other cars, given the narrow roads and traffic. In addition, the private terrace for Clock Cottage is up a short, but steep, staircase. My elderly mother-in-law visited and couldn't make it up there, so if you have mobility issues, this could pose a challenge. We loved our 4 night stay at Broadrock and will certainly book again the next time we are in the area.
