Outland Chalet & Suites Great Smoky Mountains

Very centrally located. Great amenities. Especially liked the size and beauty of the property.

The views and the property were wonderful. Really enjoyed the suite. Only minor issues were no kitchen utensils and not enough toilet paper or no paper towels for the length of the stay.

Excellent accommodations. Clean and had that extra special touch. They went abo e to make sure we had a great stay. We wl definitely be back!

There is multiple buildings. All the amenities are at the first building. Sort of inconvenient if you need to use something in the community area. You have to walk down a steep rocky Hill from the building up top and at night you can’t see very well once you get away from your room and down the walkway. Try and get a room upstairs if you can. Your porch is literally right next to the walkway with no privacy if not. Would recommend staying here if you plan on going to Cherokee or the casino and aren’t staying on the rez. Tucked away in the mountains and secluded. Other guests were friendly it seemed. Only about an hour from Gatlinburg if you wanted to take a nice drive one day as well. You will definitely need a 4x4 in the winter to get here. I almost had to put my truck in 4wheel when it rained one day because the leaves on the wet trail made it slimy and slick.
