Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you.

We stayed for two nights for our son’s graduation. Lovely, large comfortable room. Wonderful staff and delicious breakfast each morning. A very nice change from the standard chain hotels. Very easy, quick ride to Downtown Amherst. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay for a long weekend. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were kind and friendly.

Very well kept and clean room. The bed was a king and very comfortable. A lot of parking on site. Breakfast was delicious.
