Sandbar Beachfront Hotel & Hostel

We stayed at queen bedroom with balcony. We loved it. Rooftop pool is excellent for relaxing. Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. Food is also amazing at the Sandbar restaurant.

Everything about our stay at the Sandbar was wonderful. The room was comfortable and had what we needed. The shared kitchen facilities and lobby area was very good, and well equipped. Daily breakfast offerings, although simple, were just fine. Rooftop pool and bar were fabulous, and the restaurant consistently had great food and service. I would like to recognize a number of the staff, who all played a part in making our stay so great: Front desk - Allen E and Shajira Cleaning - Sheena and Emily Rooftop bar - Antoine and Allen J Restaurant - Allen j, Travis, Brittany and Elton The location was great for a quick walk to the dive shop I use.

Pros: I'm 69 and was a little hesitant because it also has dormitories but it turned out better than expected. I highly recommend the Sandbar Beachfront Hotel. My private room was clean, had a nice patio with an ocean view. The air conditioning worked great. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was different everyday and always included fresh fruit and a protein. I liked the kitchen arrangement where you can cook your own food and use the refrigerator, microwave, and other appliances. The common sitting area was lovely - ocean view and comfy chairs and tables. There was even a friendly cat for those who like animals! Although I never used the rooftop pool it was a great spot to watch sunrises and just hang out for views. The restaurant is excellent with a nice happy hour and the hotel is located close to shopping, beach, other restaurants, entertainment and snorkeling tours. Cons: The shower was luke-warm but with the weather being so hot it felt good. My room was located above the bar so it was a bit noisy at night but I was well aware when I booked. Ear plugs were provided but I didn't need them since the noise was tolerable for me. I would definatly stay there again when in San Pedro.

The hotel it was on strategic location, good housekeeping, nice front Desk people, secure, good breakfast everything natural food and fresh, all people very friendly and helpful. I would like to come back soon definitely!! Thank you Sandbar !!
