The location is very good near the Royal Courts of Justice but the price is too high. The room is in the basement which is very hot and there is no lift. But it is very clean

I have stayed for 16 nights (Nov 2025) in total (having business training nearby) so I think I can give a full picture of my experience there. Overall I enjoyed the stay very much and it matches with my expectations. While I have no regrets for the choice, there are certainly rooms for improvement and remarks that readers may wish to pay attention to. Location The flat is located in Temple where there are 3/4 tube stations nearby (Temple, Chancery Lane, Blackfrairs). But the other side of it is it’s almost equally far away from these stations. (Walking - 12 mins to Temple or Blackfrairs, 9 mins to Chancery Lane). There is also a overground train station at City Thameslink (7 mins walk). You will use all of these stations depending on the tube line you need. It’s manageable distance but in rainy windy days of London, it can be something. I would deduct 0.5 star if there is an option. There is a bus station in front of the apartment. so if you return from Trafalgar Square, you can take a bus (15 or 26) which runs regularly. This is a plus. However, the bus station towards the west was temporarily closed so it takes a few walk to the next stop if you head to the west ( where the most famous tourist attractions are at) Overall i would say it’s at the very centre of London but it’s quiet and not touristy. It fits me because I have a two week training course in Temple area. Cleanliness Cannot complain about that at all. The room is neat and tidy when I arrived. The weekly room keeping is also satisfactory. Staff However I have to give three star to staff service. This is essentially an airbnb type apartment with no front desk so you rely on message to contact staff you need. Despite landing from early flight, I have to wait until 8:45 am for the staff to open the door so that I may store the luggage (check in is 3pm). This is an understandable and minor issue, but what’s more troubling later was that I did not receive any notice or heads up on the timing of room keeping, which happened twice. One Friday afternoon when I was napping in the room, the house lady rang the bell and asked for house keeping, disrupting my rest. On the next Wednesday, they did house keeping again without prior notice. These are quite intrusive from my angle (you should really lock your valuables) and can be easily avoided. Even for check out day, no assistance was offered for taking the luggage downstairs. Facilities All facilities listed in the description are provided accordingly. You will wish to have your own hand wash and body wash/shampoo as what they provided were very basic. A minor issue worth noting is that the TV is quite outdated and positioned weirdly at the top corner of a flat. It is difficult to use and you can’t really watch tv from your bed. There is also no USB plug on the wall which is another bummer. One more downside is that there are 7-8steps of stairs before you reach a small lift and after that another 7-8 steps before you can reach your flat. It can be something when you go up and down daily or when you need to move around your luggage. Therefore I think 4 stars are fair. Overall value for money In summary i give it 4 stars as I think the price is totally fair. It’s not cheap but it’s. competitive, fairly reflecting the price you may wish to pay for a full specious apartment with private bathroom at the very centre of London, close to Covent Garden/ Soho etc. it’s a good choice for solo/ business traveller who wishes to stay long or close to work place (this area is full of law firms/chambers). It also offers a quiet and less touristy place. However if you are on a budget or you travel to London for leisure, you may wish to take into account the things I shared above. London is fun but not a cheap place to stay!

Lovely but very small apartment with only one window (that doesn't seem to open) for fresh air. Couldn't check in until 3pm unfortunately, and after travelling all the way from Australia only to arrive at 8am and wait so long for shower and settle in...that was disappointing and we lost our first day 😔 Otherwise, staff were helpful with the check in process which was online and quite difficult as we didn't receive the 'link' for precheck in and there's no front counter/reception. Otherwise, the location is brilliant and Central for tourists who want to get out and about to see the famous sites of London.

Easy walking distance to everything. Very responsive staff.
