The layout of the room is bedroom, door, bathroom, door, living room. This was an amazing layout for traveling with 2 young kiddos! We also loved the pool and spa, and were so thankful for the early morning and late night hrs ♡ The grounds are under construction so it looks a bit wonky, but its kept clean and organized. The hotel was so clean and comfortable, with a great small kirchen. The proximity to Palisades Village and the Shirley Canyon hike is perfect- we never used our car the whole trip :)

A really nice luxury hotel that's inexpensive off-season. The staff are excellent. Rooms don't have air conditioning and it takes much longer than expected to cool the room with a fan in summer. It took until about 11:30 PM for my stay. A less cheap fan would have helped. It's quiet at night so open windows are fine. Everything was clean and in good condition. I was unable to use the pool area due to unexpected service being needed.

The stairs on one side of the building are too steep- the last step is easy to miss, my friend miss stepped n fell, I miss the step as well. The last step needs to be elongated to help avoid a potentially dangerous fall

Quick get away with the wife at the Olympic Village Inn. The property is older and currently being upgraded. However, the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very restful stay and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel also provided a free margarita happy hour during our stay.

I was very happy with the place, and I will stay here again. The bed I slept on was beyond comfortable; I actually woke up the next day completely rested and relaxed. The room was very nice, and the location is excellent. With all the said, the hotel is old, and they are doing a lot of remodeling. But the room (once you get inside), bathroom, staff and location make up for a few of the little nuisances which I won't even bother complaining about.

The property is surrounded by the beautiful nature. We loved the views from our balcony. We loved our room and the staff was very nice. Another cool thing was there is walking distance village that has restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back to Olympics valley in the near future

The rooms are hit or miss: you might get a very nice one with a beautiful forest view, or end up on the first floor by the pool, looking out at someone’s car.

I am certain that if you stay and interact with staff during business hours, you will have a wonderful stay. If you have the bad luck of being delayed due to weather, and having a late check in, do not expect good things. I arrived at 2145 only to find the front desk closed with a number posted for after hours check in. I called it multiple times and the line went to voicemail where the inbox was full. I was preparing to sleep in my car for the night (in a snow storm) when an employee walked by to go to one of the janitorial closets. He was able to get me checked in after some time. I am disappointed the front desk staff didnt have the forsight to know there is a pending reservation that has not checked in and called, but even more so that before they left they didnt verify the after hours process was actually working. After I checked out I did call the next day to see if anyone actually answered the after hours number. It worked this time, which is why my review went from 1 star to 3. Still disappointed overall, will likely not return.

I loved it! It’s really close to palisades Tahoe. It was less than a minute drive (going from one parking lot to another). The room was well equipped with cooking supplies. I did not have to worry about the fire alarm going off when cooking because of how strong the vent worked! The shower is perfect for couples because there’s a shower head on both ends and each side can adjust the temp! Both bed and pull out couch was super comfy!

We liked the room with three separate areas. We did not like having to wait with other people until 4pm to get into our room. Isn't there a way of staggering, allowing people to get into their rooms over a couple of hours. People have to check out by 11! Also, need more help with luggage. Very difficult to navigate the corners of the building to get to your apartment on the 2nd floor. We ended up taking our luggage down the stairs! Also, the bathroom was locked at the pool....our key did not open it. But, we loved the pool!!
