Great location. Very comfortable.

It didn’t look like it had been thoroughly cleaned. Bed was fine but the bathroom could do with a scrub and no toilet seat. No major issue it’s just not as clean as other places we’ve stayed near by. But for the price we really can’t complain.

The atrium or central hallway of the hotel is genuinely lovely but sets a standard the rest of the experience can't quite live up to, though it's by not entirely terrible. The wifi is solid, the water gets hot, and it's quiet at night which helps with getting a good sleep. It's also well located on the central square, though it's actually nearby Parque de la Marimba that is the more bustling and welcoming at night.

Cleanliness is the big issue, as there was a dead cockroach in the middle of the bathroom when I arrived (though I didn't spot any live ones) and an abandoned cigarette tucked beside the top of the bed. The towels and sheets were also threadbare and had some holes in them though appeared well cleaned so shrugs on that. More problematic was the bed, which is thin and placed on a concrete structure and was the hardest I've ever used. Like lying on a carpet hard.
