My main advice to future guests is this: if you are paying extra for a Deluxe Sea View room, make sure you are not assigned the room located directly beside the reception and breakfast area. In my experience, that room was not worth the premium price and did not feel deluxe in any way. The room was directly exposed to the breakfast area, with guests and staff passing right outside the glass door. From around 6:00 a.m., I could hear the breakfast setup, plates being placed on the buffet, and general activity. There was no relaxing holiday feeling, no luxury feeling, and very little privacy. The room entrance was a glass door, which was also the only source of natural light and air. To have privacy, the curtains had to remain closed, which made the room feel dark and enclosed. I also did not feel safe or comfortable, as the glass door did not provide the sense of security I would expect from a hotel room. The surroundings also did not feel comfortable at night. The property entrance leads to an empty parking area, with what looked like a small farm or outdoor area directly nearby. As a guest, I did not feel comfortable walking there at night. Most disappointing was the lack of support from the hotel management. Despite raising my discomfort and safety concerns, they were not able to assist with changing the room or provide any practical solution. Because of this, and because I sincerely felt unsafe in the room I had paid a premium for, we had to check out one night earlier. Overall, this specific room did not match the description, price, or expectation of a Deluxe Sea View stay. It felt like paying for a premium room but staying inside the breakfast/reception area, with no meaningful support when the issue was raised.
