It was exactly as I expected from the cheapest hostel I could find in Dubai. The location is excellent, just next to metro station. It wasn’t really clean, but the staff was nice and helpful, I got clean sheets and the WiFi was good. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place just to sleep ;)

I'm so glad I chose to stay at heartland! Located right in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance to all the major attractions. Plus, it's super budget-friendly without sacrificing any comfort. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dorms were clean and cozy. Perfect for backpackers and travelers on a budget!

I have been staying couple of hostels for a while but this one I found really cleaned and comfortable. It used to be hotel before so it’s pretty much up to date. I really recommend.

I called prior to my arrival the host guided me well. than the security down to building helped me reach hostel. this is on the new side of Dubai, metro is one of the best thing here, beach is not far from here just 15 min drive. I made friends and quite happy to spend time at heartland hostel, Highly Recommended.

I stayed in the Executive Single room for a few days. Those who run it are very nice and approachable. Pros: Location is great. Parking is easy as there is a big, paid, parking lot right next to it. There are restaurants, ATMs, and markets nearby. They have water to fill up your water bottle and a full kitchen at your disposal. Cons: The check in process is unclear. I went to the room on reservation and had to knock and ring doorbell for over 10 minutes before someone came and let me know that I had to go to another room for the check in. Upon going to that room, I was told I’d have to wait a half hour to an hour as the room wasn’t ready and I was well past the time check in began. I was already up for 36 hours. The explanation on website for room says it is soundproofed, and this was my biggest issue my whole stay. I’d argue that it isnt. As the room is the first room to go down the hallway, I heard everything going on to get down that hallway. Every suitcase opening (because the rooms are too small for suitcases, so they are left in hallway), every person walking by, door slamming, etc. Also, there was some person the whole time that was screaming, yelling, and talking loudly every night I was there. Yes, I could have worn earplugs, but I had to hear my alarm for work and couldn’t do that. Also, checkins throughout the time had issues just like I did, and I often had to wake up and let them know where to go. Lastly, website says sink in room. There is not. Expensive.

Location is perfect really, property is just renovated owner was very and helped me out for making my tours and other information about the city, its just in the middle you can walk out side the street even in night you feel city is not sleeping. also very safe since there are cameras around.

Bed need to be fixed to make it more sturdy. person occupying the upper bed must also provide curtain to promote privacy like with the bed below. Please disinfect the Comfort room to prevent cockroach infestation. In fairness with the owner of the flat is very approachable and nice.

Mold on the walls, cigarette smell, lockers with defective closure, dirty hob and messy kitchen, without a real reception at the entrance, they asked to walk barefoot and the result was to have very dirty and slightly wet socks after going to the bathroom. I walked out immediately, didn't even spend a night. Expedia assistance wasn’t even able to reach owner by phone. Never again.

If you are not picky and just need a place that has easy transpo and near the landmarks this place is highly recommended The Manager and staff are very helpful and accommodating The only cons is it need to be clean a bit more or change the bedsheet. Overall its a great stay i will come back:)

Not recommended. Low quality accomodation well below the average standard one could expect to see in any UAE hostel. Arrived and no staff. Another person staying there showed me the available bed in a room which was dark and already cramped with 5 or 6 people in the bunk beds. No ventilation observed apart from air coming in from a balcony outside in which people were smoking. Stayed for an more than hour waiting for any staff to appear and decided to leave the premises and find another affordable (but still more expensive) hotel to stay for my two nights in Dubai.

Thanks to amazing guy out there they really helped me out for making reservations for desert safari and other tours, it really made my trip. Location and hostel itself is stunning. There is free mineral water and sheesha which I didn’t see in any other hostel. Washing clothes also free. I would say in this money it really worth it. I really recommend this

It was really good time there. Met Amazing people host is nice, place is being cleaned every day, location wise I would really recommend. Some guests doesn’t follow the rules which is annoying but with this money worth it.
