I stayed at the Wonderland retreat for two nights, having booked my accommodation months in adavance i had arrived to find out this was in fact a detox and yoga retreat in which people to dont generally stop over for a few nights for, they stay. I was informed i was the only person not on any type of package (food, yoga, or detox) and that if i wanted to be apart of anything i would need to pay 500bht per meal/session, however a hugh discount would/was offered if i puchased a few things.i automatically felt like an outsider and that i did not belong. Although the staff are extemely kind i couldnt shake this feeling throughout my stay.
However, the place was impecible, i could not fault a single thing. The rooms are perfect, hot showers, soap and shampoo is provided, free water. Everyone is very calm and kind.
I puchased a few of the buffet tickets for my meals and was provided the first for free. The food is all organic vegetarian and was some of the best food i have ever eaten. I tasted and explored food i thought i never would and loved it.
Overall my stay was great and i am glad i was able to enjoyed this newly built, beautiful place
