We absolutely loved our stay! The penthouse was comfortable and gorgeous and the view of the beach and the exquisite grounds, from our oversized 1 of 2 balconies was spectacular! The management staff were very attentive and the house keeping staff was great too. We had a bit of an unpleasant issue with sugar ants and the staff was on top of it. Unfortunately it was ongoing but they came regularly to deal with the problem. Just an fyi, laundry is a service and very expensive. We were under the impression that we could do our own but this is not the case.
Next door to our place was construction of a large complex. We were only made aware of that the day before we arrived. For us it was not to bad of a problem but I could see how the noise could have been annoying for others. We were made aware of it a couple of days before we arrived. If we had wanted to back out we couldn’t have.
The kitchen was well equipped. There is a grocery store in the main town about 3km away. It would have been nice to have a couple of basics to begin. For example there was no coffee, salt and pepper or cooking oil to get started.
I have pointed out a few issues we encountered but the positives far outweighed the negatives and we had a wonderful holiday at beautiful Vila Palmeira!
All in all it was a privilege to stay in such a lovely apartment.

This was a very well maintained site across the street from the ocean. Our unit was comfortable and spotless. We had a beautiful 20 min walk to town on the boardwalk. We went to sleep and woke up to the sound the waves.

Great location close to the beach and close enough to Lagos without being in the heart of the busyness. Mara was amazing and made us feel very welcomed upon arrival. The only thing to note was the occasional ants in the kitchen if food was left out.

Beautiful spot- walkable to the beach and pool. Our suite was very clean, and overlooked the ocean. Overall we were very happy with our stay!
