Caty is a terrific and attentive hostess! The house was clean and air conditioned and the kitchen was well stocked. We liked that the house was not right in the commune of Castelmola, it gave us a good 10-15 minute walk to and from the village which we enjoyed very much. The property also offers free parking which is not easily available in the area. We had a wonderful stay and would seek out the accommodations again should we ever revisit Sicily.
There was nothing we didn't like. I will only make note to wear good walking shoes as the village of Castelmola is at the top of a mountain so it's all hills, including the walk from the house. We enjoyed the exercise but it may not be for everyone. Should that be the case, there is a bus stop right by the house which can take you to Castelmola as well as other points of interest
