Alberto was very welcoming, meeting us at the apartment and showing us around the beautiful Castlemole. The apartment was clean, had amazing views on to Mt Etna and easy walking distance from the town centre. The £10 daily parking was easy to access and in a safe location.

This apartment has probably the most breathtaking views I have ever encountered. From the bedroom window, views from the ocean, beaches, hills and then of course Etna. We were given a tour of Castlemola by Georgia the host’s father who was waiting for us. Helped us with parking and introduced us to locals. Very friendly town. Clean as can be expected. Coffee machine and fridge. Bus runs frequently down to Taormina and is cheap. Don’t miss the cable car down to the beach.
The apartment is a bit small but the views more than compensate. If you are driving, take a tranquilliser before going up the hill. It’s scary but worth it. Ask Albertus to organise parking.
