Sweet House in Santo Spirito

We enjoy the location in Piazza Santo Spirito. Restaurants, bars and markets all right there! The views from the apartment are wonderful, got many great pictures of Florence from there! Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is very nice, heated floor, large shower and also a view! Kitchen and laundry facilities are great too!

We found the stairs to the fifth and last floor to be a chore especially after walking all over museums. But I did however enjoy the exercise after a plate of pasta and a gelato! Not having coffee pods to go with the coffee maker.

The apartment is one level higher than surroundings so you have views in three directions. Because of the height it is also nice and quiet while you immediately bump into the filled terraces of bars and restaurants when you leave the door. The apartments is also renovated with taste, nice bathroom and other rooms made out of what probably was storage space in the past.

As with most apartments it would be nice to have a starter packages of kitchen supplies you need. Imo renters can pass these on to each other as well. Often there are no basic things like pepper/salt/olive oil/dish washer capsules etc.

So many steps! (we were aware of It) In general, home is a little bit cold

The only redeeming quality is that the location was nice

We wouldnt go back to this apartment. - walking up and down 5 sets of stairs, which they didnt mention anywhere - Not enough light, theres only 1 small light in the living room that works, and only the nightstand lights in the bedroom that work and none of them were enough - There was a dusty smell all over the apartment - The television that was there, didnt have a remote. When we did turn it on it couldnt be connected to the internet so we couldnt stream anything at all - The toilet seat wasnt connected well and would move while you were sitting on it -Every day you would be woken up at 8:30 by the 2 churches in the vicinity, if you want to sleep longer its impossible.
