Apple 1BR Villa Padang Padang Beach, Uluwatu

The High Vaulted Ceiling was nice, and the separate pool privacy.

There was a bright white light security light on all night outside the bedroom window, making it hard to sleep. We tried to cover the window and asked the security to turn it off but it stayed always on. The studio is beautiful, but the holes in the wall let a few ants enter and the way the unique doors are hung has large air gaps making it hard to cool. There are no screens and it is hard to get natural airflow. To walk to the main narrow road took about 18 minutes and was not as pedestrian friendly as I expected with some traffic, and we felt a bit unsafe without a walking path, it was also hard to drive in a car being super narrow. We found another way to drive taking longer but was wide and easier. The staff was super nice, but I had some personal clothing that went missing during my stay.. The kitchen was also a disappointment being very dark in the apple studio and not so well equipped to actually cook. We paid about 160 US dollars per night with our booking discount but I would say it is worth more like 100 per night or less. We are now in Pandawa beach getting a huge private 2 story home with a huge pool for 150 Us per night with no traffic and able to see the sites in less time using the toll road. If I stayed again in busy Bukit I would rather pay a bit more and choose the cooler Temple Lodge right by the Impossible's Beach to feel more relaxed & hear the waves/walk to the beach. Being inland was a bit too hot for my preference but I appreciated it was more on the quiet side for Bukit.
