The location was just beautiful. Watching the tide come in and out and the light on the water and sitting with the doors open and on the patio was wonderful. Everywhere was so clean and well kept, inside and out, and the bed was comfortable and having a washer/ drier was such a help. It worked well for my mobility issues and we had a wonderful time staying there and exploring the peninsular. Tairua was very friendly and felt like a place where people live rather than a tourist area.
The washer/ dryer was a little difficult to understand and we looked up instructions on line so some instructions inside the property would have helped some people. The water pressure in the shower for the hot water was rather weak so if you wanted a warmer shower you had to sacrifice the strength of the stream. Really though everything was great,

Perfect location close to everything you need. Beautiful to wake up to the view in the mornings. Exactly as pictured. Plenty of space and everything was so fresh and clean.
The mattress was very hard and not the most comfortable. Also maybe some mirror tints on the window with the bath as people walking past and can see straight in.
