Next to Coco's Apartment

The location is excellent. It is very central so you can walk everywhere. The building itself is from the communist era and not very pretty, but that that is typical of the centro area (and part of it's charm!) and it's the interior that is important, not the exterior! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and importantly the shower had good water pressure and was hot. The communication with the Host was excellent and the check-in process was very simple (two keys in lock box). As a bonus there is a washing machine and a dryer, although the dryer only blew cold air... at least while I was there (it may have been fixed since then). There are a few trade-offs with this property, but I enjoyed staying here and would stay here again when I am next in Tirana.

There was a strong smell of sewer gases in the apartment when I arrived, and for most of the next day. I was told it is related to the atmospheric pressure ahead of the rainy weather. I expect the lower-quality communist era plumbing in the building is also a contributing factor. The apartment was not as clean as I would've liked, especially the bathroom. I have very short hair (almost bald) and there were a large number of long black hairs, and also short curly black hairs, throughout the bedroom and bathroom. I think the Cleaner the Hosts use just needs to increase their attention to detail to raise the standard of cleanliness.

Rack for clothes would be great. (There is a wardrobe, but it is not enough)
