Our stay at Hotel Izela was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and with the major convenience of private parking. It is also an ideal base for taking the historic Pelion Little Train (Moutzouris) from Ano Lechonia to Milies, which is an absolute must-do in the area.The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. We were highly impressed by the hospitality; the owners and staff are incredibly polite, welcoming, and speak excellent English. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the traditional country-style pie with spinach, leek, and spring onion—easily the best pie we have ever tasted in Greece! Best of all, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, attracting mostly local guests rather than noisy tourist crowds. Highly recommended!

It would be great to see mosquito nets installed on the windows and doors. One evening it rained and the outside air became beautifully fresh, but we couldn't open the windows due to bugs and had to use the AC instead. Also, adding a few kitchen essentials like a pot or a saucepan would be very helpful, as there is a double hot plate in the room but no cookware to actually use it.
