Chirripó Oasis

Really enjoyed the scenery from the balcony over the valley as well as spending time with the hostess bird watching and walking around the property; wonderful waterfall within walking distance and also an old sugar cane press with boiling station

More time at the site - next time!!

Enchanting oasis of intentional regenerativity nestled at the feet of Chirripo mountain. Lots of birds to greet our stay. Tricia is a wonderful host and her family and staff were very caring. The local coffee shop was closed that morning and Tricia very kindly invited us to share breakfast with her family. We felt very welcome and privileged to share the valley for a day.

Wat een geweldige plek, met uitzicht over de Chirripó vallei. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn super attent en aardig en hebben ons - uit gastvrijheid - meegenomen op een nachtwandeling en een wandeling door hun park. Ze weten ontzettend veel over de omgeving en hun kennis van de natuur is geweldig en leerzaam. Veel vogels en andere dieren gezien!

Chirripoʻ Oasis is the perfect spot for beautiful views, bird watching and spacious access to the surrounding grounds. They have a wonderful viewing platform to a waterfall a short walk through the grounds that we really enjoyed. The host's father-in-law has created a beautiful garden, and the hosts are knowledgable and passionate about the surrounding wildlife (you'll learn a lot!). There are feeding platforms for birds viewable from the balcony, where we saw plenty of interesting species we hadn't seen elsewhere. A comfortable and relaxing stay, a short drive from local restaurants and the Cloudbridge Reserve.

Not something we dislike, but there's a small grill oven and plug-in induction hob available for cooking which I dont' think is mentioned in the amenities, which was a plus!
