Vi valde detta alternativ eftersom det utlovades gratis parkering. När vi kom fram fanns ingen sån möjlighet. När vi checkade ut fick vi instruktioner för hur vi skulle få med oss bilen från parkeringen. Det är illa skött och orsakade både praktiska bekymmer och vissa extra kostnader för oss.

The location is excellent and the apartment is spacious and has a nice balcony.

This is a lovely apartment for a stay in Melbourne. The apartment block is secure and is kept clean by diligent staff. The apartment is comfortable and clean. The wrap around veranda on two sides lets you get plenty of fresh air. Coffee shops and cafes abound, including two on adjacent corners. The local Woolworths is across the road to help with self catering. Further afield, one block away is Chapel Street with a wide variety of restaurants available. Toorak Road has restaurants and shops to please a range of tastes and budgets. Twenty minutes walk away is Fawkner Park which is large, beautiful and relaxing and well worth a visit. The walk to Prahran Market is rewarded with the choice of so may types of lovely food. In the other direction it's only 200 metres to the walking and cycling track beside the Yarra River. You can walk upstream to take in the bush views or into the Melbourne CBD in the opposite direction, passing many of Melbourne's famous sporting venues on the way. If you prefer public transport, South Yarra Station is ten minutes walk away and there are many options for trams to connect to wider Melbourne.

Chapel Street can get a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights as some locals show off their modified vehicles to admirers but you can cocoon yourself in the apartment to reduce them to a background rumble.
