Amazing place, would definitely recommend!

Stayed at the Secret Garden house for 2 nights with family & friends for my 60th birthday. The house is amazing, beautifully decorated & well equipped. Very spacious too. The dining table fit 13 of us which is usually hard to find in places so perfect for us! Beds were so comfortable & everywhere was spotlessly clean. The garden & tree house were great to explore. Location is excellent, close to the pubs & shops. Communication fantastic too, really quick replies which I always appreciate!

Had heavy rain most of the weekend - obviously out of your control !! But because of this we didn’t get to use the hot tub & think some sort of canopy or shelter over it would be beneficial .

Great place for friends to gather and celebrate.

The whole experience from the magical gardens to the hot tub to the sumptuous interior and space.the situation in the centre of Leyburn was so convenient for eating out and near to a lovely walk from.the centre. We hope to come again and would recommend to family and friends. We also thought our 3 night stay was very reasonable . Plenty parking space too. Thank you

Could have done with more dishes, small plates, and cutlery, but we managed ok .

No door mat No coat hangers on entry No information pack Leaking conservatory roof so couldn’t use that room Garden and hot tub are lights don’t work so couldn’t use at night No facilities around hot tub Some windows don’t open all need cleaning Non of these stopped a good time!!

Great sized house for family gatherings, great location with lots nearby. Would stay again

Location was great, easy to find and close to everything you could need. Size of house was great, plenty of space to be together as a large family. Garden was just magical.

Looking a bit tired in places (wallpaper peeling off in hall, windows missing and cracked windows in conservatory). And very few windows opened downstairs, would have been helpful when cooking. Consider these minor issues, and nothing negatively affected our stay though.

Amazing stay for exploring beautiful Yorkshire and surrounding counties.

We loved the whole house and it is a very good house for a group. We were very surprised at the luxury look and feel, we felt at home straight away. Such a beautiful garden to explore and to enjoy. The location is superb and local restaurants and pubs were excellent. Very friendly locals. We have had a truly amazing time, riding our motorbikes out each day and returning to extreme comfort.

We were short of cutlery until we found it all in the top shelf of the dishwasher on the second day. We needed teaspoons! Waste bins are needed in all bedrooms or en-suite rooms. (None of the above hindered our stay)

Beautiful and luxurious place to have a great get together!

Everything was lovely! The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Lovely bathrooms and toiletries. The garden is amazing and feels so magical. I loved the tree house! The hot tub was perfect and heated and ready for us to use - again perfectly clean! Hosts were brilliant, lovely reassuring message to let us know if we needed anything to get in touch. We requested an earlier check in as a local catering service were dropping off food, and this was no problem! The house is really big with lots of space to enjoy. The kitchen has huge fridge and freezer space and a wine fridge - fabulous for our party Prosecco! We thoroughly enjoyed my Hen weekend at The Secret Garden House - we didn’t want to leave! Hoping we can come back again with family next time.

Not so much negatives but just some feedback - we couldn’t find the tin opener and I don’t think the power sockets in the conservatory were working, (we did figure out the switch for the lights), but this certainly didn’t matter we still loved the house!
