This place is a treasure! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Loved everything about our stay. This beautiful property is so much more than it looks in the pictures. Annalisa was so welcoming and has thought of every detail, there was literally nothing we could fault. Will be coming back for sure. Location of property is quirky and views from private roof terrace are stunning. Range of restaurants on the doorstep. Would give it 11/10 if we could!

Be aware that there are two flights of stairs up to the apartment.

Spectacular!

Accommodations are so large and the photos don’t do it justice. The breakfast was great. Annalise was so sweet and thought of everything. Excellent location with the best views. Would love to stay here longer if I ever come back to Italy.

Luxury, Comfort and Warm Hospitality

The flat is a true gem – bright, characterful and with a touch of luxury. Annaalisa is kind and helpful, and communication with her was very smooth. We had the best sleep of our trip in this gatekeeper’s cottage. It was lovely to enjoy breakfast in peace while watching the city wake up. Thank you for letting us experience this – we hope to return someday!

A real gem in a lovely setting. Authentic feel about the rooms, stone flooring and amazing balcony to soak up the views. Property was tastefully furnished and seats were amazingly comfy.

Perfectly exceptional 🙏🏼

From the moment we arrived, we were so well taken care of — even before we arrived, as our host, AnnaLisa, was a wonderful communicator. We used WhatsApp and easily found our way to beautiful Porta Senese Suite. She has thought of everything in her wonderfully appointed home — great bed, great towels, glorious A/C. Delicious coffee, tea, biscuits, milk etc provided, along with fruit, yogurt, and fresh pastries delivered in the morning. Did I mention the rooftop deck? And she made a dinner reservation for us at a restaurant only steps away that was one of the best we’ve enjoyed in Italy. 💖 10/10 from us! Thank you, AnnaLisa.

Een woord: GEWELDIG

Het appartement ligt op de mooiste plek van de stad, boven de grote stadspoort. Vanuit de keuken heb je aan de ene kant zicht op de mooie winkelstraat en aan de andere kant over de grote weg de stad uit. Je bent overal op loopafstand vandaan en parkeren is gratis op ca.50 meter afstand. Het appartement is super groot en er werd super goed voor ons gezorgd. Voor het ontbijt kun je echt alles vragen wat je wil. Annalisa bezorgde ons iedere morgen verse broodjes. Ze is echt een geweldige gastvrouw. Mochten we nog eens naar Castiglione del Lago komen, dan alleen naar B&B Porta Sensese Suite.

Als ik iets moet zeggen, dan zouden wat meer planken in de kleedkast handig zijn.

Es waren 2 außergewöhnliche schöne Tage in diesem Apartment.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Lage , direkt über dem Stadttor, war einzigartig. Es war absolut ruhig.Das Apartment wurde von Annalisa sehr liebevoll, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Annalisa war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Perla rara nel cuore di Castiglione del Lago

La suite è posta all’inizio del borgo, su un passetto spettacolare, la vista da quest’ultimo è eccezionale soprattutto al tramonto. Gli ambienti interni sono molto grandi, eleganti ed accoglienti. Annalisa è un host d’eccezione, disponibile ed attenta ad ogni richiesta. La colazione è ricca e servita direttamente in camera. La suite è dotata di ogni comfort possibile e la chicca finale è il terrazzo con affaccio sul lago Trasimeno.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, tolle Unterkunft direkt im Zentrum, sensationell eingerichtet, ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, außergewöhnlich geschmack- und stilvolle Unterkunft, hervorragendes Frühstück, kostenfreie Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kommen gerne wieder!

Einzige leise Kritik: etwas Brot zum sonst perfekten Frühstück wäre wünschenswert. Insgesamt perfekt!

Un borgo incantevole,vestito dalla magia del Natale e osservato dalla sommità di una porta medievale

Siamo stati accolti appena parcheggiata la macchina. Per orientarci abbiamo avuto delle informazioni ed indicazioni precise e complete. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Ambienti spaziosi, ben arredati, curati e tenuti in condizioni perfette. Temperatura confortevole in tutti gli ambienti.
