Toast Stays - Pleasant View House

A beautiful location in a village high in the hills with fine views of the countryside. The accommodation was modern and well equipped for cooking. The modern rain shower had a good supply of hot water. One parking space to the rear.

We hadn't realised that despite two bathrooms on both levels there is no upstairs toilet which is inconvenient especially with the very steep stairs. The bed mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were thin. The property was recently decorated but not well as paint coming off. The curtains in all rooms need altering far too long. The entry from the rear was dangerous as steps down small tread, steep and uneven, so we had to drive mum around the front to enter the property. We didn't find instructions for the heating but the timer needs resetting and not all radiators were accessible plus covered by the too long curtains so no heat in the evening when closed!

It was a lovely cottage with all you could need.

We booked because it had 2 bathrooms but didn't realise until the last minute that there is no toilet upstairs and the stairs are steep. We will have to pay more attention to the description in future as a toilet upstairs is very important to us being in the later stages of life. We managed though and had a great weekend. Thank you.

Really comfy home, clean and well equipped.

That downstairs bathroom is chilly! It would be great if the heated towel rail could be turned up.

It was very cozy and really nice kitchen.

We were under the impression and the reason we book this property is that it has 2 bathrooms not realising there was only one toilet downstairs. It was disappointing as it wasn’t clearly advertised but we managed.
