The location was wonderful. We had a great view of the water and could watch the water birds. We were also a short walk to a bus stop that allowed easy access to Amsterdam. Traveling by bus is very convenient in The Netherlands. The houseboat was very clean and well maintained. It had a basic supply of dishes we could use and sufficient storage for us to bring our own breakfast food.
It was a little awkward that the main entrance passed through one of the bedrooms. We generally had one person go in that way and then unlock the door in the main living area. Would have been nicer to just have a key to this other door instead.

God afstand til Amsterdam, god mulighed for parkering, offentlig transport til Amsterdam. Gode senge og dejligt med aircondition.
Omkringliggende område ligner en krigszone. Dækket ovenpå var møg beskidt. Der stod gammel mælk i køleskabet og det var ikke gjort rent. Lyset i loftet (halogen pærer) blinkede konstant og kunne ikke bruges. Gulvet i badeværelset knirkede helt vildt.
