Cherry Cottage Retro Stay, Stourport-on-Severn

It was spotlessly clean , It had all the amenities that you need for a short break. Escape room and retro artefacts were a quirky and fun extra. Host Paul was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed .

There was nothing we would change .

The place is really cool, clean, tidy and very peaceful surroundings, Paul came and greeted me and couldn’t do enough, yet left you to it until needed. Extended my stay another week I loved it that much.

Amazing little cottage with a clever use of space to fit in everything you need for a short stay. We loved the 80s/90s retro theme and the chance to play retro games on the consoles. The snacks and breakfast items were a nice touch. Comfortable bed and a great shower. The cottage is set in a pretty garden with a patio area. It's about a 30 minute walk into the centre of the town and you can walk partly on the canal path. Paul was very friendly and gave us information about the route into town and taxi options. Free off road parking was great too.

EVERYTHING 😀. We were transported back to our youths. What an amazing little find. We were greeted & shown the cottage by Paul, the owner who was very welcoming. The bed was super comfy (my partner didn't want to move) & everything sparkly clean. Had some lovely yummy treats left us by Paul. We loved the escape room game. Such fantastic memorabilia, we kept discovering new things the more we looked, rubix cubes, lego, old school games, the list is endless. Loved listening to the records. The garden was so peaceful, sat listening to the birds with our crumpets in the morning. I can't praise Cherry Tree Cottage enough. Retro with all the modern day conveniences, air con, phone charger cables, microwave, wi-fi, etc. Absolutely Loved it.
