Palheiro Mar by Olá Madeira

We had an incredible stay at Palheiro Mar by Ola Madeira! The house is split over two floors and is perfectly spacious and comfortable for two people. One of the absolute highlights was the amazing terrace. You can literally sit out there and listen to the soothing sound of the waves all day long. The location is unbeatable. Even though the village is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, it still has some fantastic spots to offer. We highly recommend grabbing pastries at Cafe Villa Amore and Kamoshi, and you absolutely must try the fresh seafood at Restaurante O Ideal! A special shout-out to our host, Dino, who was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Mooi authentiek sfeervol huisje, fantastisch bed!

Badkamer was erg klein, en het was een uitdaging daar je haar te wassen, want er was beperkt warm water, dus daar moest je echt rekening mee houden

Ligging bij de oceaan was perfect.

Alles is netjes maar basic.

Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Meer, das man sogar rauschen hört. Die Ausstattung ist rudimentär aber in Ordnung, außerdem ist es sauber.

Wie in anderen Bewertungen schon beschrieben ist es relativ dunkel und ziemlich hellhörig. Worauf wir hinweisen möchten ist, dass bauartbedingt sehr viel Getier: Kakerlaken, Würmer, Spinnen und Tausendfüssler unter anderem in der Dusche anzutreffen sind. Das sollte man unserer Meinung nach wissen bevor man die Unterkunft bucht.
