Charming 23 m studio with balcony - Sacré Coeur

A very nice and well-maintained appartment on the fourth floor (with elevator) of a modern building in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the unflashy Eastern edge of Montmartre with everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen corner, a functional bathroom, fast WLan and a lot of stowage space. Lightfilled with huge windows towards the East and the North and a nice balcony perfect for breakfast, snacks and drinks. The touristy side of Montmartre - Sacre Coeur, Place de Tertre, the eateries around Rue Lamarck, ... - are just a few steps away - which, this being Montmartre, of course always include a lot of stair climbing ... Good connection to the airports and the rest of Paris: The Metro 4 station Chateau Rouge is 400 meters away. Unproblematic communication, very good value for money (except for the 30 Euro extra for a 1 hour early check-in or late check-out ...)

Just some minor things: I would have loved a curtain in front of the balcony door/window like the one in front of the eastward window in order to be able to get some privacy without having to completely darken the room with the shutters. I didnt find a way to turn off the ventilation in the bathroom. The quiet but constant noise was a bit of a nuissance, esp. at night. The mattress and the pillows are nearing the end of their lifespan. (The duvet was fine.)

Treppenhaus leicht abgeranzt, Tapete hängt teils daneben, der Dreck in der Strasse ist imens und die Blagen aus dem Nachbarhaus päpen bis 21.30uhr draussen rum. alles vielleicht gewöhnungssache- dafür Sackgassenlage- no Auto at all ! top

Super Lage und gute Ausstattung

Good location for visiting this part of Paris and close to metro for getting to other parts of the city. Apartment pleasant and quiet, bed comfy and we were able to fold away during the day for sofa seating.

No mirror so nowhere to dry hair Only 1 bath towel per person for 5 nights, no hand towels for the loo No oven gloves and only a single tea towel Dirty used wash up sponge by kitchen sink presumably for us to use - we threw in the bin Piles of dust and dirt left under the bed A dirty smelly blanket presumably for the travel cot There are duel aspect patio doors, both have shutters but only one has any kind of drape for privacy when the shutters are open Shower head and hose badly need replacing as furred up with lime scale and the hose is leaking. The shower is very small so ended up with water spraying everywhere Better quality bedding would have been appreciated, bottom sheet very bobbled
