The holiday apartment "Marquard 165" is located on the 4th floor of a 4-storey house in the listed holiday settlement of the famous designer and architect Arne Jacobsen.
The holiday resort is surrounded by water on three sides. To the north the marina, to the west the entrance to the fishing port of Burgstaaken and to the south the wide and most beautiful sandy beach of Fehmarn. The marina with its round jetty and the fantastic south beach are each only about 180 m away.

You will find a bakery within walking distance, which will refine your breakfast with its delicious rolls. Furthermore, there is a grocery store at the marina and on the beach promenade, where you can get all the necessary things to live.
The FehMare adventure pool, which is also located on the south beach, offers a great "beach feeling" with its view of the sea and the wave pool with sea water even in rougher weather.
In the immediate vicinity of the marina there is an e-charging station, as well as public barbecue stations.

After beautiful days at the beach, enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony, with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea, the harbour exit and the beach.

Beach
The fantastic south beach is monitored by DLRG and is located in the reception area of the free Wi-Fi of the municipality of Fehmarn. In the immediate vicinity of the beach you will find restaurants, cafés, playgrounds, toilets, showers and a baby changing room.

Parking / Bicycle
the apartment has a fixed car parking space that is available free of charge for your stay.

Wellness / Laundromat
at the marina about 150 m away you will find a laundromat with washing machines and tumble dryers. Within walking distance of the apartment is the year-round seawater wave and adventure pool with sauna "FehMare" The use of the swimming pool and laundromat is subject to a fee

Activities
directly in front of the apartment is the "Burger Binnensee", one of the best surfing areas in Germany with surf school and rental of the famous Charchulla twins. – In the apartment "Backbord" you are right in the middle of it. – What are you in the mood for? – Fishing, diving, surfing, kiting, sailing, golfing, boules, beach volleyball, geocaching, horseback riding, tennis or climbing, a visit to a restaurant or a look at the many Fehmarn sights

You now have the opportunity to book a beach chair (near your booked property or on the dog beach section) and/or e-bikes for your stay with us.

DEFECTIVE ELEVATOR: Unfortunately, the elevator is currently defective. This should be repaired/renewed by Pentecost 2025.
