A great starting point for many wonderful activities, centrally located since the
Geest village of Strackholt is in the heart of East Frisia.
Strackholt is located in the mill town of Großefehn and can be easily explored by bike.
The cities of Aurich, Leer, Emden, and Wilhelmshaven are within easy reach.
A quiet, rural setting surrounded by nature.
The swimming lakes “Ottermeer” and “Timmeler Meer” are about 10 minutes away.

Welcome to the Irene Vacation Rental

The cozy, non-smokingvacation rental for 2–4 people has its own entrance
and is located on the upper floor of the house.
You’ll find parking for your car right next to the house.
There is a storage area available for your bicycles.


The vacation rental is equipped with:

a well-equipped kitchen with a beautiful view of our large baobab tree....
a cozy East Frisian sofa to relax on....

The following kitchen utensils are provided:
electric kettle, coffee maker, plenty of dishes and silverware,
toaster, microwave, stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop, large fridge-freezer combo......

A large, light-filled bedroom with a view of the garden,
double bed 180 x 200,
the bedding is suitable for people with allergies,
a large wardrobe, a sofa with an armchair, a coffee table,
a bookshelf, and satellite TV,
there are fly screens on the windows

A stair gate can be installed in the stairwell,
A crib and high chair are also available

The clean bathroom is equipped with a shower,
plenty of towels, hand soap, toothbrush cups, and a hair dryer are provided,
separate guest restroom.

Your beds will, of course, be made upon arrival.

You can enjoy the day or wind down in the large garden.

Here you’ll find your own terrace with patio furniture and a grill
as well as lounge chairs.
You’re welcome to use our garden shed with a porch.

For our younger guests, we have a pedal tractor, a Bobby Car, a soccer goal,
a basketball hoop, badminton rackets, and—weather permitting—a small wading pool.

A note for our dear guests:
our beds are designed to support a maximum weight of 110 kg.
Our guests are responsible for any damage caused in this regard during their stay.
The security deposit will be refunded to our guests immediately after the vacation rental has been inspected and cleaned,
via bank transfer or PayPal.
