This is a cozy studio in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It is situated on a bustling street right between the Fontaine St. Michel and Notre Dame Cathedral and is serviced by two metro lines as well as numerous buses and the RER. This lovely studio features 1 double bed, heating, WiFi and a washing machine. Whether you're exploring the charming streets of Paris or indulging in delicious French cuisine, this apartment is the ideal base for your adventures. Good news first: this is a great place to stay if you want to be in the heart of tourist attractions with good access to public transit, especially if you come when the weather is moderate (around 60 F/15 C at night). It has a kitchenette with a fridge and laundry equipment, including a dryer, which is a huge plus. We also found the mattress comfortable. But there are a few caveats: In our case, the check in process did not go smoothly as there was no one to meet us to let us in and the contact information was inadequate. It took us about an hour to get in contact with the owner and get in. However, this could probably be worked out and the owner was easy to deal with.The property is NOT air conditioned, though we had been led to believe it was. Given the season and the weather, it turned out to be not much of a problem. If it had been warmer, it would have been uncomfortable, especially because if you leave the windows open, there is a lot of noise from the nightlife on the street below (otherwise, the windows do an amazing job of controlling noise). Also, if you are sensitive to light when you sleep, take an eyeshade, because the curtains do not block out the light from the street. The cleanliness was so so.Those issues aside, we felt like the price we paid was a good deal and we would stay there again.

The owners contacted us to advise the original studio needed to change…and offered us a 2 bedroom newly renovated alternative! The place was clean and obviously well cared for! We walked our way all around Paris easily….the best perk, a to die for pastry shop right across the street! Yes we will start our diets when we get home 😋
