This beautiful wooden house is located right on the fjord near Bjordal, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Sognefjord. This vacation rental serves as a great starting point for exploring many attractions in the Sogn-og Fjordane region and in Hordaland. Fjordhytte-16 is the yellow house; the red house next door is listed as Fjordhytte-23. Enjoy a wonderful vacation in this waterfront vacation home. Built in a typical Nordic architectural style, the interior features plenty of wood, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The open-concept kitchen in this vacation rental flows seamlessly into the dining area, providing ample space for all guests. There are 2 bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink, and shower. Some of the interior photos are from the neighboring house, which is identical in construction. The photos differ slightly in detail.
The mighty Sognefjord is one of Norway’s most famous fjords and offers many beautiful viewpoints of the fjord and the mountains. A visit to Jotunheimen National Park, where you can enjoy long hikes and stunning views of nature, is definitely worth your while.
There are also several hiking opportunities near this vacation rental, such as Stølsheimen National Park near Ortnevik, which is about a 5-minute drive away. The owner of the vacation home will be happy to provide you with information on other places to visit.
A day trip to Bergen by speedboat or car is also recommended.

In Ortnevik, about 10 km from the vacation home, there is a river where salmon run.
Fishing regulations for recreational fishing: This vacation home, FH-16, and the neighboring homes FH-17 and FH-23 are registered as specialized tourism fishing operations; therefore, as a guest at these vacation properties, you are permitted to export fish from Norway. To do so, you’ll need a confirmation from the owner, which you should request immediately upon arrival.
