Lincoln Park Living - Suite 1

It's a great location near public transit and a wide variety of restaurants. There's a bus stop practically right out the front, and there's a station where the Brown and Purple lines stop within walking distance. We flew in and didn't rent a car, and we had no problem getting places. I got coffee and breakfast at a place right next door, which was super convenient, and there's a few places nearby you could get snacks or something more substantive to have without ordering takeout. For us, the main space was more than enough to hang out in at the end of a long day out. The bedrooms were plenty as well.

The front bedroom can be a bit loud from street noise, though that quieted down at night. However, there's a nearby hospital, so there can be siren sounds even late at night. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest taking the bedroom further from Diversey. In my case, I brought earplugs and I was fine.

Large apartment with 2 nice size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 6 minutes walk from subway only and there is a bus stop to go to the lincoln park just in front of the apartment. Nice working AC and comfortable beds (slightly softer than the usual hotel standard).

The kitchen was definitely lacking utensils to cook. We are a family of 5 who stayed for a week and tried to save by not eating out all the time. So we were expecting to cook but the lack of larger pans, pots, and proper utensils and silverware made it difficult. One of the bedrooms is on the street side and so it is very noisy at night so we didn't sleep very well It takes a good 30-40 minutes to reach downtown so it is not easy to go back to the apartment to rest mid day before going back out at night as transportation takes a while.

Lage, Ausstattung Küche

Kein kostenfreier Parkplatz wie bei der Buchung angegeben verfügbar. Ich habe 5 Minuten vor der Check in Zeit ein Onlineportal empfohlen bekommen, um dort einen Stellplatz zu buchen. Angeblich für 10$ am Tag, wir haben nur einen für 20$ am Tag bekommen und 0,5 milen entfernt. Die Bäder sind sehr alt und zum Teil notdürftig repariert. In beiden Bädern lief der Wasserhahn durchgängig, die Bäder wirken schmutzig. Das Apartment ist sehr dunkel, Jalousien zum Teil defekt.
