H11 CENTRAL CHARM Sanremo-Ariston

Handy location near beach, port & shops in centre of town. 2 decent sized brs & modern bathrooms. Lift to apt (few steps up in lobby so not totally accessible). Stylish decor, good aircon. Bus depot opposite handier than station for visiting the area/Ventimiglia.

As mentioned in other reviews on very busy road but totally quiet when windows closed. Kitchen table & chairs appalling - an old picnic table with taped up legs & uncomfortable chairs - kitchen is the reason we get an apt! Cost very little for new table & chairs! Kitchen overlooking scaffolding & central atrium so need to keep blinds closed. Apt did not have pillow cases or enough towels etc for 2 weeks & don’t provide change of linen so had to wash sheets etc. No dryer or clothesline & small clothes rack so the managers brought me a 2nd rack but should have weekly linen exchange over a week! Apt managers were friendly, responsive & lovely when called but should speak to owners about the above! One bazaar thing about Sanremo is most traffic lights not working (especially near apt) so you take your life in your hands every time you cross the road as the cars usually stop at crosswalks but the motor cycles whizz around the cars to bypass them & pretty scary!

The apartment was very nice and comfy with the necessary amenities. Double glazing doors and windows does help keep all the traffic noise from the outside. The location was fantastic and safe. Close to everything you needed. Coffee bar, restaurants, shopping, beach and supermarket and we were lucky enough to have found free parking close by for the whole week too. Well recommended.

The elevator is a bit out of date but the apartment is on the first floor so we hardly use it.

La struttura è in una posizione comodissima per raggiungere qualsiasi punto interessante della città. Nonostante l’affaccio su una via molto trafficata, l’insonorizzazione è ottima! L’ambiente è essenziale ma pulito e ben curato. Il doppio bagno con doccia è indispensabile quando si è in 5. Macchina del caffè e cialde presenti in cucina, così come la lavastoviglie!

All’arrivo il divano letto non era stato preparato, ma alla richiesta presso l’host, hanno provveduto tempestivamente a portarci le lenzuola. Unica pecca, ci aspettavamo che le preparassero loro, ma nonostante questa piccola incomprensione il soggiorno è stato ottimo
