Old Town Apartament next to Bazylika Mariacka

Absolutely loved this property ! It’s so gorgeous and cosy and just perfect ! The location is amazing your so close to the main square ! So cute ! Had everything we needed !

It’s location is ideal for exploring the old town.

Whilst the owner has made this apartment homely it’s failing on a number of accounts. The biggest failing is in water pressure which is not mentioned in the booking information. To be honest if this was a hotel room it would be unacceptable and you would ask for your room to be changed. At best the shower provides a dribble of water and worst it just stops altogether. The owner has written a hand written note apologising saying it’s a bigger problem with other flat owners not wishing to pay for the upgrades needed but this isn’t good enough. As someone renting the flat you should be made aware of this upfront. But honestly, if this property had been vetted by booking.com I’d suggest it would fail and not even be on the site. Setting that aside the contact with the owner was poor. On the day of arrival I contacted them to advise when we’d be arriving. I did get a quick response advising the flat entrance information would be provided later that day. A hour before arriving I had heard nothing so I contacted them again, I got told not to worry and the information would be there before my arrival. Upon arriving at the flat we still didn’t have the entrance information, I contacted the owner again - at this point I was worried, it was 8.30pm in the evening on the day of arrival and we still didn’t have the information needed to enter the flat. Thankful he responded quickly this time with the entrance information. The only reason I can see in holding this information is for the owner to control the entrance, probably because they were in the flat up to our arrival. Upon arrival the wi-fi wasn’t working, as it was late I contacted the owner the next day. He responded with an apology and the suggestion of powering the router down and then back up. As I’ve worked in tech for 30 years I know a quick reboot can solve these things so I agreed to do.
