The house and views were stunning. We loved the high roof and rustic feel, it's in a very quiet area, close to small stores for essentials like firewood, we especially enjoyed the little Fynbos garden with it's meandering path and having a fenced off back garden for our dog. The chairs on the stoep are so comfortable and great for just sitting and enjoying the mountains.
The upstairs bathroom window really does need a blind or to be frosted as it looks out right into the neighbours' property when you shower. A shower in the downstairs bathroom would be great too.

very comfortable and near walk to beach. beautiful view of the mountains.
no TV. Indoor fireplace can be very smoky if you don't use it correctly. Would've liked a second shower over the bath downstairs. lots of windows with no curtains and some blinds are broken. leak on left side of inside fireplace on the rocks.

Beautiful mountain view
Quiet area
The stairs to the main bedroom is very dangerous...gaping holes on the sides...not suitable for older people and children to climb.
The single beds on the ground floor are not suitable for adults.
The fireplace chimney should be cleaned...and probably needs some maintenance.
When we entered the property...it reeked of smoke.
