Mountain View

We absolutely loved our stay! The view of the mountain is absolutely stunning and the big windows allowed for a lot of natural light to flood the place. Considering it was winter we enjoyed making good use of the fireplace. The wooden table in the kitchen was perfect for playing games and building puzzles. It was conveniently located close to all Betty's Bay attractions. The check in and out procedure was very simple and well explained and we appreciated the bottle of wine as welcoming gift. We would love to visit again.

It was a bit tricky to manage the shower temperatures as it would go from very hot to very cold quite quickly. But the positives far outweigh any negatives.

The house and views were stunning. We loved the high roof and rustic feel, it's in a very quiet area, close to small stores for essentials like firewood, we especially enjoyed the little Fynbos garden with it's meandering path and having a fenced off back garden for our dog. The chairs on the stoep are so comfortable and great for just sitting and enjoying the mountains.

The upstairs bathroom window really does need a blind or to be frosted as it looks out right into the neighbours' property when you shower. A shower in the downstairs bathroom would be great too.

no TV. Indoor fireplace can be very smoky if you don't use it correctly. Would've liked a second shower over the bath downstairs. lots of windows with no curtains and some blinds are broken. leak on left side of inside fireplace on the rocks.
