Mia's Nest on Page

The host met us and welcomed us with open arms. She gave us a tour of the beautiful cottage and made us feel like family coming home for a visit! Everything was very clean and very homey, the host even provided tea, coffee, sugar and milk as well as toiletries. All the beds had electric blankets and extra blankets which is great for the winter months and used every night. The location is perfect - close to all amenities and very safe. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we'll definitely stay again the next time we're in Bloemfontein.

The location is quiet, peaceful, and conveniently close to all essential amenities. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Sarie and her husband made everything easy, as they were always available and willing to assist with anything we needed. Mia's Nest is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and definitely a place we would recommend to anyone visiting Bloemfontein. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

We liked everything about the place.

Great location, visually pleasing on arrival, felt safe when entering and exiting the premises. The tidiness and cleanliness of property was exceptionally meticulous. The bathroom and lavatory were very clean. Bathroom was nice and spacious and very modern, with large shower. The availability of a wood fireplace was absolutely wonderful. All beds had electric blankets for use which was fantastic for winter. I would recommend this venue to any person that is traveling with family to Bloemfontein.

My wife noted some slight cleanliness issues with kitchen utensils, but nothing serious. When taking a shower, I was slightly disappointed with the water pressure (very low water pressure), and faucet (tap) operation. It was somewhat difficult to find the hot/cold position where the water would be at a comfortable temperature. Not sure if this was an external municipal supply issue or an internal borehole or water supply system. Would have liked to meet the hosts either at arrival or departure. I have a preference for personal interaction.

The peace and quiet. Very secure and safe. Very welcoming feeling.

Access to the unit was via the garage. Only down side.
