Cosy cottage in Snowdonia

Beautiful cottage, well equipped and in a stunning location, would book again x

Nothing had a fab time

The location is very beautiful. A small village road with scenic mountains and lakes. The hosts left a basket with chips, wine and cakes.

We struggled with the access lock code provided at start but after a call to hosts, they were able to generate a new one which worked. Some basic items were not present. Like salt, body wash, however we managed to buy it from a Spar store nearby.

Location, parking, good value during school hols especially if you fill all the rooms (we didn’t), hiking trails from the door, plus a friendly, quirky pub nearby

A few things would make this excellent all round. Needs outdoor furniture! Even just a simple, solid picnic bench out front. Hadn’t twigged on booking that that we couldn’t sit outside in the evening. Needs a cafetière or some way to make decent coffee other than a pod machine (extremely wasteful) - luckily brought our own. Also the beds are soft and feel very synthetic - unsure whether this is the bedding, linens, mattresses or all of them - extremely sweaty even on a cool night with the windows open. Cotton is better. And shower wasn’t really hot. No problem during a heatwave but this would give me the rage in the winter.

Location was lovely

No take aways no large supermarkets nearby . Garden needs attention and no patio set but other than that it was fine
