Views to the piazza below from the top-floor apartment living room and to the street from the bedroom are nice. Air conditioning worked well. It was convenient to have a washing machine and dishwasher and the provided soap and shampoo lasted us for the full time we were there. The elevator just fits two but it works. Public water machine dispensing still and frizzante (!) is a block to the south.

This property was in a very quaint area. We loved it! Very close to everything. We had a problem with the air conditioner and we called and it was solved that day. The property called to see how everything was. Very easy to get a hold of. Would recommend this to others!

Our air conditioner was broke the first night and it was very hot. But, fixed quickly the next day.

We stayed here for 5 nights and the location was great. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet close enough to walk to all the famous landmarks in the area. The 2 air conditioning units worked great once they were able to initially cool down the apartment which took a few hours to do. The washing machine and drying rack were a huge plus since this was the second leg of our vacation and we needed to do laundry. Everything was clean and tidy. Once we were able to figure out the keyless entry system (you have to click through 4 different locks/doorways on a website to get into the unit) getting into the apartment was easy. There are electric blackout shades on the windows which helped with the heat and noise from outside. The espresso machine and provided pods were a definite plus! The refrigerator is nice, but it does not have a freezer. It was also very comfortable inside the apartment.

The lift system to get to the apartment on the top floor is not great. It is the size of a small telephone booth and barely fits 2 people, but we knew this from the property description. The problem is that not all the residents manually shut the 2 doors to the lift when they exit, which makes the system inoperable. Several times we had to either hike up or down the 80 steps to the apartment, so make sure you are comfortable with this fact before booking. Guest are only alloted 1 bath towel each, 1 hand towel each, and 1 bath mat towel each. When I requested more from the host, I was denied. The apartment does not provide dishwasher soap or laundry detergent so you will need to purchase these once you arrive at a nearby grocery store (Conad). The bowls they provided were tiny so I had to eat my morning cereal out of a sauce pan. The water heating system is tankless and will stop (after about 5 minutes) in the middle of your shower. You will need to turn off the shower, and then turn it back on in order for the hot water to kick in again.
