Good location, great room and furnishings

Was very noisey and heaps of light around curtain edges.

This is a brand new apartment, it was very clean and the appliances were brand new as well! It is spacious, close to a shopping mall full of nice places to eat, it was walking distance from JB Sentral over a sky bridge (once you manage to find out the directions, which was kind of confusing). The building is huge but there were no queues for the elevators, security was good (although the Nepalese guards did not speak very good English which caused confusion for check-in) and the Wi-Fi was strong. They let me check in an hour earlier, for a small fee. Overall a great place to spend a night in JB, however the entire coast is currently a big building site, so not super picturesque.

Several things that can be improved: - The name in Booking is "Seine", however the office name and the property name are Xi An, which was very confusing, especially with the guards not speaking English and not being able to show me where to go. - Security deposit is collected in cash, or via some Chinese apps, however they did not manage to work with my European bank card, so I had no choice but search for the office. Eventually I found it, but it was a journey... Also, they allow early check-in for a price, 20 MYR an hour, which was OK for me. When I was checking out however, I had to wait for a long time, as there was only one lady at the office "and she could not go to check my room because nobody will be left at the office", so we need to wait for a colleague of hers to appear (this was well within their working hours). Both ladies were extremely polite and apologetic, so I guess this is just bad capacity management by the bosses and not their fault. - The advertised Netlflix access did not work - it said the maximum of 4 accounts was exceeded. For the price per night I guess they can buy some additional subscriptions. It's not a big deal, but on a rainy evening in JB there is not that much you can really do. - The advertised "Sea view" gave a very limited chance to see the coast between the rest of the building's towers. Not so important, just don't expect a real sea view.

I like that the development is new and well-maintained.

Key collection was a bit complicated but still manageable.

Self check in was not the smoothest given the layout of property. Especially tricky for lone drivers. Only 2 lift shafts operational for well over 400 units; every trip up/down was quite a wait
