Nice choice for a relaxing stay at the Lake

This is a very nice apartment, equipped with everything you need. It has a kitchen, hairdryer, and a washing machine. The windows were protected against insects, even though we hadn't seen a single mosquito during our stay. The apartment is located a 2min walk from the promenade and only a few more minutes from the beach front. The host is very friendly and everything feels very organized. Definitely recommend staying here 👌.

Reaching the associated parking spot requires a very steep uphill drive, which I wasn't too fond of. Eventually, we parked our car directly at the lake. A 1 min walk away from the apartment. This worked out pretty well for us.

Stunning view, peaceful location

The view across lake Shkoder was stunning with the mountains rising above the opposite shore of the lake, it was so peaceful, clean and well equipped, even with thoughtful details such as excellent binoculars! Ardit and his family couldn't do enough for us, providing recommendations for trips and when we had a problem with our car getting stuck, they got all the neighbours to help. We had a wonderful time and would heartily recommend it.

We had to pay cash not card, but we are finding that's the same in many different shops and places.

Complete appartment with great view

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of May 2025. The apartment was located approximately 150 meters north of the boulevard center of Shiroka. Via a fairly steep path (from Shiroka turn left at 42.05977, 19.45196), we reached a parking area for guests behind a gate. The gate was closed for the night. The apartment was not indicated anywhere else. We were waited for and let in shortly afterwards. The owners lived on the ground floor (with a separate entrance). On the upper floor there were two complete apartments, each with a balcony. The apartment was spacious and consisted of a living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom (with toilet, bidet and shower) and a spacious bedroom. The balcony with sliding door offered a beautiful view over the lake and the narrow coastal road with a grey heron and a little egret as regular guests. On the balcony there was a hanging chair, two garden chairs and a small table. The balcony had no covering, which meant we had to stay inside on a rainy evening. The kitchen was well equipped with a refrigerator, coffee machine (a video instruction was sent via WhatsApp), ceramic hob, grill, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses and cups. Useful basic amenities such as washing-up liquid, olive oil and salt were present. The biggest plus point of the apartment was the view of the lake and the proximity to the cozy boulevard of Shiroka, with various restaurants, terraces and a small supermarket with a currency exchange office. The boulevard was car-free, with a maximum speed of 5 km/h.

Throughout our stay, there were construction works going on at the waterfront about 50 meters from the turnoff. There was little left to be desired, such as a kettle, a tea towel and a microwave.

Great clean apartment with nice host

The apartment was clean and comfortable with air conditioning and a great view of the lake. About 20 mins drive from Shkoder centre. The bed was comfy and the lounge has a huge sofa. Ardit, the owner, is a very kind man who goes out of his way to make you feel at home

Shiroka's Special Guest

Shiroka's Special Guest is superb accomodation. The view from the apartment of Lake Shkoder and the mountains on the far shore is stunning. The apartment was spacious, very clean with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony. The kitchen & washing machine were great. The hosts are to be congratulated as they care about their guests & the quality of their stay. We highly recommend staying at the Shiroka's Special Guest.

What an amazing place 😍

It was a perfect place, with an amazing view from the window. You can enjoy your staying from the balcony and drinking coffee in front of the lake. I have never seen an amazing view. The people are very friendly and so respectful. I suggest to all. I will come back again for some days. Thank you again!

מקום מצוין , נקי , מסודר, חנייה מסודרת ובטוחה , שקט , נוף חלומי. הטיסה שלנו איחרה והבעלים חיכה לנו עד 3 בלילה. הרבה פרטיות ותחושה נוחה ומכבדת. מיטה נוחה, מקלחת טובה. הרבה מגבות , שמפו, מצעים ושמיכות נוספים. ספה נוחה.

אנשים התלוננו על גישה לחניה מורכבת לדעתי אין בעיה פשוט 5 שניות של ריכוז. וילון עושה חושך 95 אחוז ואפשר שיהיה 100 אחוז. אין באמת משהו שלילי אני פשוט מנסה לתאר במקסימום את המקום. מומלץ מאוד.

Fantastische plek

Super mooi appartememt, rustig plekje met prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Vriendelijke mensen, parkeerplek aan huis. Het appartemrnt is modern, met airco behaaglijk warm. Zonsopgang en ondergang is prachtig vanaf het balkon of vanuit de woonkamer. Vanuit het appartement loop je zo het wandelpad langs het water op. Een prachtige plek, zelfs de pelikanen die je vanuit het raam zag zwemmen kwamen dagelijks weer terug, dus zeker overnachten hier!
