Everything! This place is amazing. Great location, clean, air conditioning, comfy beds, washing machine, some food if you have forgotten to bring your own and reasonable price. Only 5-10 min walk from Daimon-zaka bus stop and nice walk to Nachi Falls, Kumano Nachi Taisha and Seiganto-ji Temple. There is a track that goes up behind the house that joins the path. We caught the bus back from Nachi Falls to Daimon-zaka after our walk. The host is fantastic and could not have been more helpful. Great communication. He even arranged luggage transfer to Hanako's house from Shingu and then on to Koguchi for us.

Wasn't a problem at all for us as it is very clear in the description that you need to bring your own food but if you like to eat out at restaurants there are none nearby.

Great place to stay at, has everything you need. Very clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Room was spacious and everything else was great.

Location is not the greatest, especially for finishing hiking the Kumano Kodo. Extra 40 minutes hike from the town with all the backpacks is not a joke... But I guess it is better than not having an accommodation.. Also there is nothing around to buy food or drink

Everything well thought out, good spaces, very easy after huge day of walking.

Nothing to complain about really, I am tall so have to be careful not to hit my head in some Japanese houses and there are some beams that are a little low for me.
