Nice 3-night stay in Sarandë
- The owner was really helpful and attentive. I could reach her anytime via WhatsApp and she would reply immediately. - The room was spacious, clean and looked as if it was recently done. Everything looked new. - The bathroom was very spacious and modern. - WiFi was good and the signal was strong. - There was space in the garage to park the car. At night the garage door would be closed (not locked). - The location was very convenient for me. It was a 5-minute drive to the centre. By foot it is a bit far, especially getting back to the room which is uphill.
- The bed had an issue and the mattress was sinking more on one side. I slept on the good side but had we been two sleeping on that bed, it would have been a big problem. - The shower had no curtain or isolated area on the floor, so the water spilled over on half of the bathroom floor. - The room lacked little details like a closet, wall hangers, a mat outside the bathroom to absorb any water from the shower. - The TV was positioned on the corner right above the head of the bed so you couldn't really watch TV while lying on the bed. Unless you lied upside down. Also, the angle of the TV was such that it wasn't convenient to watch TV while sitting on the sofa either. - The room was on the ground floor a few meters away from the street and although there was a concrete fence and the garage door was closed (not locked), I felt a bit uneasy leaving the balcony door open for air during the night. (Although I felt very safe everywhere I went during my trip to Albania.)
