A lovely place to stay in Saranda

Good location -yes, it was up a hill, but I managed it twice a day despite being 64. Lovely views over the bay. The walk was past local shops which were much cheaper than those in the town centre. Staff - I asked if I could use the kitchen to make a salad, but was brought plates, cutlery and a sharp knife and was able to make salad in my room every day. The room also had a fridge and a kettle (plus cups and glasses). One evening I was brought a plate of watermelon, which was totally unexpected and a lovely touch. The room was spotlessly clean, well furnished and the bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water at all times.

The room was very clean and the property was about 20 minutes walk from Downtown.

The husband was very welcoming and friendly, but the wife was overly demanding at times. While I understand the importance of energy conservation, it’s not appropriate for hosts to enter the guest room to turn off the AC. This should be clearly stated on the property listing or communicated before arrival. Additionally, there was no hot water available after 9:00 PM on most nights, which forced my wife and me to take cold showers and ultimately led us to leave the property a day earlier than planned. One night around 1:00 AM, the wife texted us saying we were being too loud and that the neighbors might call the police. However, it was just me and my pregnant wife walking into the property and talking softly for about five minutes before going to bed. Overall, while the location and initial hospitality were good, the lack of hot water, unexpected restrictions, and uncomfortable interactions made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Beautiful and quiet stay in Sarande

This is a wonderful little family run hotel. The hosts were really warm and kind people. They were constantly checking on us in case we needed something. We felt really at home. We rented 2 apartments, they were comfortable, with air-conditioning, a small kitchen and a sofa. The shower had hot water. The property has a nice rooftop where you can enjoy a view of the bay and the mountains at night. The neighborhood is safe and located at a very quiet part of town. It is advised to have a car because it on a hilly part of town. We were able to park the car for free on the property. I will strongly recommend this place. We felt respected and valued as customers. This was our favorite hotel in Albania. Falemenderit!

Incredible place with better hosts in a beautiful city.

Host was super friendly and accommodating. We had hassle with our coach from Greece, they stayed in contact and made sure they were there to meet us with a smile and check us in.

Tired due to the climbing distance

The place is completely renovated from the inside, the bathroom is good, but there is a problem with hot water, sometimes it is not available for me, it was good

I have problems with hot water and the distance it’s more than 1.5 km Going up to the mountain after the traveller all day, it is very tiring. I do not advise the elderly and those who have children to go there or those who have health problems such as heart and blood vessels. When booking, they said there is a kitchen. I did not find a kitchen or anything like that. The address is also incorrect. The place is more than 20 minutes walk from the existing address. Unfortunately, we were misled. If I knew that I would walk daily for more than 40 minutes on foot to the mountain, I would not book, and the hood in the bathroom is very annoying.

Very far from center and way to get to the house was very broke and old. If you dont have car its too far (my opinion). On booking shows that are 2 bathrooms in our booking but tjere was only one!

Alojamiento limpio y el personal agradable. Es una vivienda privada. Donde viven los propietarios y hay 3 habitaciones más.

Reservamos la habitación con la cocina. Nos dijeron que de la reserva anterior habían roto algo y no nos podíamos alojar en esa en ese momento pero lo arreglarían a lo largo de nuestra reserva. Nunca lo hicieron. Nos dieron una de las otras dos y nos apañaron una cocina improvisada en el balcón con un fogón portátil y una bombona. Nos dieron algunos utensilios pero faltaban demasiadas cosas, teníamos que fregar en el lavabo.. fue un poco incómodo. No nos dejaron ni un trapo… Además nos dieron un rollo de papel para 3 días, y no había jabón de manos, ni gel, ni champú… Además la ubicación te obliga a coger coche para ir a la playa, ya que se encuentra lejos de esta y en cuesta arriba.

Levemente molesto

En principio reservamos 1 día por el precio que está fijado..17€. Una vez terminada la reserva y consignada la tarjeta de crédito nos comunican que ese precio es para una estancia de tres o mas dias. Que un dia eran 25 €,con lo cual no podíamos cancelar sin penalización y nos obliga a contratar tres dias para mantener el precio.(17×3=51€). Artículos de aseo,que están publicitados no nos dieron,aún habiéndolos pedido. Excesivamente rigurosos con el ruido de televisión e incluso conversación en terraza.

Ho prenotato 3 camere però 1 delle 3 aveva un bagno dove la doccia a pavimento nel bagno piccolo come si apriva si bagnava anche il wc, quindi eravamo costretti dopo la doccia ad asciugare tutto. l'acqua calda era poca è la mattina non c'era.

Tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa nessa acomodação em Saranda! Desde o momento da chegada, os donos foram extremamente simpáticos e acolhedores, sempre prontos para ajudar com qualquer coisa que precisássemos. A casa é super confortável, muito bem equipada e perfeita para relaxar depois de um dia explorando as belezas da região. Tudo estava limpo, organizado e exatamente como descrito. Recomendamos de olhos fechados e com certeza voltaríamos a nos hospedar aqui!

A casa é perfeita, apenas um pouco afastada do centro. Contudo, se você alugar um carro, o que recomendamos para explorar a Albânia, não haverá problema algum e haverá espaço na garagem.
