    I booked the hotel last minute, what was important to me was its location and price. I didn’t even read the description fully. When we arrived at the hotel, I was just surprised that it has a kitchen with complete appliances and utensils, perfect for a family with a toddler (warming milk and meal prepping)! Also, Toronto has a cooler temp compared to the place where we are from, so I’m glad that there’s also a portable heater in addition to the central heating system. Just one thing I disliked was their use of plug-in fragrance diffuser, sorry, not really a fan of those, I had to open the window to get rid of the fragrance. But, overall, it was a pleasant experience. 🙂

    There was a ceiling leak in my bedroom. My laptop suffered from the water damage. I communicated with the hotel and tried to work out a compensation plan with them. Hotel manager describes this incident as if I should bear most of the blames for my laptop damage because I did not take their advice. The manager decided that they are unable to assume responsibility for my laptop damage or provide any compensation. I have reported this to the governmental departments and let them review this case.
